I can't tell you just how excited I was when I saw the spoilers for Callie's Picks. So many things on my ultimate Stardoll wishlist were there. Seriously this new release is one of the best to come out from Callie's Picks, and definitely makes up for the mediocrity of the previous collection. The oversized striped sweater is my fave; I have wanted it for so long but never thought it would be re-released!

OOTD: Strike A Pose

So Strike A Pose came out on Friday, and I must say I was super impressed. Although Most of the pieces weren't to my taste, (and the ones I wanted sold out) I love how they listened to our requests and gave the pieces actual skin tones. There wasn't much variety, but they made an effort and I'm pleased they did. I only picked up one piece, which I styled below. It is more or less an exact match to my doll's skin tone, which I'm super happy about.

FM-STYLE

As I mentioned briefly in a previous post I was a part of a style competition in the club FM-STYLE. The premise is you and fellow contestants are set tasks and after completion and judging a contestant is eliminated. This goes on for two months or so until two contestants are left and a major task is set to decide the winner. It was so much fun to be a part of and I had a blast. They're currently holding their 10th Cycle (which is a special cycle) so I thought I would show you some of my favorite entries from contestants so far!

There have been quite a few Tributes since I last posted, and I must I love them all! I was especially into the Melbourne Minimalism Tribute for being so simple and wearable. I feel like pretty much all of the pieces can be worn differently over and over again. This outfit is made up of so many unnecessary layers lol, but I think it's kind of cute.

Hey guys, another OOTD post! This is actually a shot of yesterday's outfit, however I loved it too much not to post it. The sweater is honestly one of my favourite (and most worn) Stardoll purchases. It's a piece that is so easy to construct an outfit around. I went for a more masculine look with it this time around. Hope you like it!

I love the jewellery that Stardoll has released recently. I've been super impressed with the Subcouture, Young Hollywood and Splendid jewellery releases. I especially love the earrings and Givenchy inspired studs. My outfit today is a mix of casual and dressy, which is something I think Rihanna incorporates into her outfits effortlessly. I also went for a hairstyle inspired by both her and FKA twigs.

OOTD: EXPENSIVE TASTE

Hey guys, it's been a while. Subcouture was just released, and although I wasn't too impressed with the collection, there were 

some really nice pieces that I decided to buy. I was particularly fond of the accessories and shoes, so decided to make an outfit incorporating them. I seriously love big, bold jewellery and often try to create my own using various pairs of earrings for my doll, 

so buying this flashy pair of earrings were a no-brainer. I also love the detail on the shoes.

I've been trying to find ways to style this LE sweater since I first bought it, but all of the looks I came up with were either too simple or too much. To be honest I'm still not entirely happy with this outfit -there's something missing in my opinion- but it's the best I've been able to style the sweater so far, so we'll take it as it is lol.

This beautiful suite from alcik1994 is right up my alley. I love the grey tones (my favourite shade atm) and minimal colours used, as well as the silver accented pieces of furniture. Everything about it is so simple and yet screams luxury. Such a pretty suite. 

OOTD: Sweater Weather

Hi lovelies, another OOTD! Honestly, I have so many things in my wardrobe that I haven't worn yet, so I'm making an effort to try to style these items and try something new. DECOR TALK: NEW SUITE

Made a new suite a couple of days ago. Honestly I suck at making suites, but this one is my favourite I've made so far. Yes it's simple and there's barely anything complicated about it, however I really like the feel of it. To be honest the 'niceness' probably has a lot of to with the great graphic quality that Stardoll's decor has at the moment. Oh well, lol.

I've had this suit jacket in my closet for ages but totally forgot about it, which is crazy because it's such a statement piece. I guess as I'm always buying from the Plaza and Bazaar I become forgetful on the awesome finds that I've previously come across. I really love the simplicity of this outfit. I should go for 'simple' more often, lol.

BEGINNINGS

Hey guys, 

The name's Cilla, and I've been a member of Stardoll since 2006. Tbh I don't really go on as much as I used to as I'm now an adult and have many other responsibilities, but my love for fashion keeps me going back. I love to experiment with the clothing, accessories and decor; basically styling of all kinds is an obsession for me. 

This blog has been set up for over a year but just hasn't been used properly. However, this year I've decided to make use of this space and post various Stardoll related things whenever I can. That could be fashion, decor, thoughts, whatever. Hopefully I actually keep my promise of posting things regularly and this space isn't left dry for another year, haha.
